Leader News

Sadly from September 2010 Alison, Claire, Lara and Naomi are intending to step down in their role as Happy Nappy Leaders. Alison and Lara are returning to work part-time and Claire will be using this time to study for her Masters and Naomi is planning on running a new village group called SixpennyActive. Although this announcement seems a little premature this will allow time for Happy Nappy to find some new leaders and for us to hamd over to them. Please chat to any of the current leaders if you might be interested in taking this on or want to find out more about what is involved.

Toys and Set up

Since we took on our role as leaders back in January 2009 we made it our priority to set up a toy rota. Each week the activities set up incorporate different areas of learning e.g. physical play, fine motor skills, messy play, role play etc. In order to achieve this we have purchased a number of new toys and equipment. The toys are set up on a three weekly rota in order to maintain interest and enjoyment. We have received a number of compliments about the quality and range of toys we offer for both younger and older children. Our toys include those bought new, nearly new and donations received.
