Happy Nappy

March 2011

How lovely it has been to finally see some warm sunshine and with the arrival of the daffodils, what a promise of spring! Before we know it we will all have the sun cream and paddling pools out.

We would like to welcome all our lovely new mummies with their beautiful and most handsome babies. So a big welcome to Jo with Emily, Claire with Luke, Emily with Kitty, Tracey with Holly and Helen with Jack.

We would also like to give a wonderful heartfelt congratulations to Lisa, Jason and Eve on the safe arrival of baby Hettie.

The Christmas raffle raised 115 which is fantastic. Thank you for giving your prizes and buying tickets.

The community fund has also been incredibly generous and given us an additional 200 grant having already received 250 from the Street Fair profits.

We will be running a spring raffle, we already have some amazing prizes thanks to Sarah's hard work contacting local businesses, but we would be very grateful if you could donate some smaller prizes - any unwanted Christmas prezzies? We will start selling tickets in May.

Street Fair
We will be selling cakes, biscuits etc. at the Street fair. Any offers of help with cake making and help on the stall would be brilliant.

Table top children's/baby sale
We are going all out this year to get our funds up and keep Happy Nappy running and so Sarah has had the fantastic idea of doing our own equivalent of the NCT Sale. We will be holding it in the village hall on the 35th June 11am - 3pm. We will be charging 10 per table. So if you are fed up with children's/baby clothes, toys and equipment filling up your loft and can't face the stress and weather of a car boot then just ask Sarah or myself about booking yourself a table. Of course the rest of you lovely ladies must put the date in your diaries to come and get your bargins and support us at the same time.
We will be providing refreshments, cakes and soup on the day too so any help with that would be very much appreciated.

Leader News

We are still very keen to hear from anyone who wold be able to become a leader, helping to keep this lovely group going. Please feel free to ask us what is involved.

And Finally

Many thanks to you all for coming along each week and all your help with setting up and packing away.
