Happy Nappy

November/December 2009

The Autumn chill is setting in, so we have plenty of Happy Nappy activities to keep everyone warm in the coming months. It has been lovely to see an influx of new members both babies like Bethany, Alfie, Harry, Grace and Minna and bigger children like Jack, Matilda and Will, it has made the welcome song a fun challenge keeping our brains ticking!

Halloween/Bonfire Activities - Monday 2nd November

Dress up in bright shiny colours or halloween costumes, there will be a number of themed activities to join in with as well as the normal toys. If you have older sibilings who are on TD day from school, please feel free to bring them along.

Bonfire Night - Saturday 7th November

Happy Nappy will be doing Face Painting at the Scouts Firework display from 5pm to raise funds. We hope you can come along and support us and the Scouts on that evening. This year there is a children's display starting at 6pm. If anyone is interested in helping with the face painting please let Naomi know!

Christmas Craft Activity Morning - Monday 7th December

So we can get those beautiful handmade Christmas cards in the post in time for Christmas we have decided to hold a Christmas Craft day the week before the party, we hope you will come along and join the fun, we may ask for a donation to cover material costs.

Christmas Party - Monday 14th December

Father Christmas will be joining us on the 14th December for our party so dress up in red, green or your festive outfit. This year we are asking you to bring along a wrapped and named Christmas present for your child up to the value of 5. We all bring food to share at our Christmas feast so we will be compiling a food list closer to the date.

The photos we had taken on the 5th October are ready for us so we will distribute the passwords as soon as we can.

Fund Raising

We do fundraising activities throughout the year to raise money to cover the cost of hiring the hall and to purchase new toys and equipment. We have recently purchased a range of items including baby bumbo seats, new mugs, craft materials, play tables and the usual snacks.

We have started using the Yellowmoon Catalogues to try and raise some extra funds so please pick one up when you come to Happy Nappy next. Happy Nappy gets a percentage commission on each item you buy using the Happy Nappy code on the front of the catalogue. There are even more products available online!

We are planning another Pamper Day in the spring term... details to follow.

Thank you to Jackie Molnar (Ellen's Mum) for donating the ELC HappyLand set, wooden train set and puzzles. Donations of out grown toys are always welcome.
